We had grand plans to go to the Punahou Carnival and eat delicious fried things however, en route we realized that the carnival ended the day before. With no plans and our fancy new camera in tow we decided to stop at the Ala Wai Canal to take some pictures and see if we could make it look beautiful. It's not too difficult to make it look beautiful with the right angle but when you walk straight up to it, it's quite nasty.
