On Sunday we were in the mood for a little beach time, so we hopped in the car & headed to Sandy Beach. Brenden likes this beach for a few different reasons. One: It doesn't get crowded & few tourists come here. Two: The strong shore break. This actually makes it one of the more dangerous beaches on the island. Three: The sand is nice & the beach is very deep.
On this outing we had a visitor. A Hawaiian Monk seal showed up on the shore & infringed upon our personal space. It was pretty amazing. In the time the seal was around Brenden took nearly 100 photos. Below is a sample from our time hanging out at Sandy Beach.
