DISNEY!

We went to Disneyland and California Adventure while we were in California.  We weren't planning to go at all since it's $92 per person, per park!!!! and we don't have kids to ohh and awe at everything, but then my grandma hooked us up with some free passes! (thanks Grandma)

We spent most of the day at Dinseyland going on all the classic rides like Pirates of the Caribbean, Jungle Cruise, Haunted Mansion, etc.  We got really lucky going on a Monday and almost all of the lines we waited in were only 10 minutes.  One line was 30 minutes and that was Brenden's fault. We also took pictures with characters whenever we could and wore our Mickey and Minnie hats proudly. 

After several hours at Disneyland we headed to California Adventure.  Honestly we probably should have spent more time there because it was fun! We got to see a Muppets show which Brenden LOVED and then went on the Monsters Inc. ride which is clearly meant for children, but we didn't care! We also went to the Bug's Life show It's Tough to be a Bug which is just as good as ever.  Then, we visited Cars Land and our jaws dropped. It's literally a copy of the movie and it's amazing. The whole time we were talking about how our oldest nephew would just love it.  It was the highlight of our trip.
