Veterans Day Parade

^Happiest little American^

Kian and I went to the Veterans Day parade downtown to celebrate our veterans and try to meet up with a mommy group.  We were at the completely wrong location for the mommy group, so we didn't meet them but we did watch the parade.  Kian slept almost the entire time and I sat on the curb taking pictures and videos.

Going to these types of things always makes me cry. The veterans are always so proud and I just always tear up when I start thinking about the things some of these people and their families have gone through.  I'm even tearing up just writing this. I'm very thankful for everything our veterans have done and I want to make sure my son is too.

  1. I'm not sure if I've ever been to a Veterans Day parade. I'm pretty sure I've been IN one as a kid or marching in the band but I don't think I've gone to one to just watch.

    1. I think being in the parade is probably better than watching one.
