While we were in Virginia we HAD to go to the air & space museum. The little one LOVES fans, as all babies do at some point, and we figured he would absolutely adore a giant warehouse with many planes and helicopters hanging from the ceiling with lots of giants fans. We spent almost three hours just walking around looking and pointing at everything. My favorite part was the space shuttle, it was huge and amazing and it looked like a giant white quilt had been wrapped around a spaceship.
Kian loved every minute of being there and it was three hours very well spent. We would recommend it for anyone visiting the northern Virginia area. Also, it's free! (parking is $15 though)
