Starting a Workout

Getting into a workout routine is incredibly difficult after having a baby.  Not only do you have a baby that you are spending all your time with but recovery from childbirth can be very long and painful.  I am 10+ weeks postpartum and am still coping with pain. The other day Brenden was helping me move around because I had agitated my abdomen so badly. So, starting a routine has involved a lot of start and stop for me. 
But, I am still committed to starting a new workout routine so when Yoga Outlet contacted me with the offer of a gift card I was thrilled and very excited to get some new workout gear.  I had very high hopes that it would motivate me to get going!
 I ordered a Spri Xertube in heavy, a foam roller, and a medicine ball

 I am loving having the medicine ball as part of my workout, it has been great to use with squats and even though it is only 4 pounds it will definitely help me build up my arm strength from zero to something.  The foam roller on the other hand, I am still learning how to use. I've watched plenty of people use them but it ended up being a lot more difficult then I thought it would be, apparently I can not balance and roll. But I am starting to get the hang of it.

    1. I love the medicine ball, still working on loving the foam roller...but all the fitness gurus use them :/
