We made it! We're in Nashville.
We left Virginia yesterday morning at 5:30am and made it to Nashville in about 11 hours. This was the most driving we've done in over 3 years so I was excited about our road trip. Mostly I was excited about the food we would get to consume along the way; biscuits & gravy, Krispy Kreme donuts, egg sandwiches, yes! Going on a road trip is the perfect reason to eat junk and now I need to work out like crazy when we get home... But we still have two days in Nashville to enjoy some home cooking and Brenden and I will both be taking advantage of that. I'm not sure we'll be doing anything while we're here other than eating.
keep going south another hour and a half and you'll be in huntsville with me!
